The nursery building has total wheelchair access in all areas which are situated on the ground floor.

Our policy aims

  • To be flexible with attendance patterns to accommodate the needs of individual children and families.
  • To actively encourage families to use the nursery setting so that they can access training or return to work.
  • To operate a waiting list taking account of birth dates of individual children.
  • To offer Free Entitlement (FE) funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

More detailed information can be found in our Admissions Policy which can be downloaded.

Appointments & Taster Sessions

We recommend parents/carers visit Kamelia Kids to see the Nursery in action and meet the staff team.  We kindly request that appointments are arranged in order to make sure that either the Nursery Manager (Rachel), or Deputy Manager (Julia) are available to show you around the nursery and discuss any questions or concerns you may have. Opportunities for taster sessions can be provided for you and your child to become familiar with the building and how the day operates.  This will also provide a good opportunity to get to know the staff.

For further information about our nursery, please download our Prospectus and registration form and Admissions Policy. Prior to your child starting at Kamelia Kids we will need your pre-registration forms completed and returned, so that we have accurate and up-to-date records.

My son 14 months old started there in January! They are absolutely amazing... brilliant with the kids and brilliant with parents! I was super anxious about leaving him and they really helped calm me and make me feel at ease! I really feel they genuinely care about the children.

My daughter is 2.5 and has been going since she was 8months. They are brilliant! She has such a good time. The staff are amazing and so lovely. They are really helpful when you’re settling in and so understanding. They’ve put up with my sobbing on many occasions! My second little one is due to start in June. Her development has been awesome and I put a lot of that down to them.

My kids are 2 and 4 and attend there. My 2yr old is thriving. She didn't say much when she started, can’t shut her up now. Talking, signing, wanting to play more, they're so good with her. My son loves it too, he gets to play outside and go in the soft play almost every day. He made friends there so quickly too.
